All characters from Lewis Carroll's children's book Alice in Wonderland.

The Mad Hatter and The Cheshire Cat are not at all sweet and funny; they look cunning and distinctly unkind—cunning is a better word. Alice is pale and frightened, which is probably because she has no lower body. The composition is well-thought-out. A lot of work went into this; The White Rabbit adorns the other wall. Why in such a tucked-away place? You have all the peace and quiet to create something, but almost no one sees your creation, only the regular residents of the neighborhood. This graffiti is for the people of the neighborhood themselves. Why Alice? We cannot ask.

The photo is printed on an aluminum dibond panel; the flat artwork has a frame on the back, which makes it hang 'floating' on the wall.

An ode to street art by photographer Gert Willem Haasnoot

Graffiti, once considered vandalism, is increasingly accepted as a full-fledged art form.
