The most striking features are the use of colour and the movement in his paintings. His colours are unmixed pure and the movement controlled and subdued.
The work comes from emotions and fantasies. The work splashes off the wall. Yet it can be characterized as accessible, not in the sense of flat but more as understandable.
He paints mainly figurative art, but various types. He uses a lot of color which generally gives the work a sunny look. His work is very broad and he paints very variable, different things.
He started out very clearly painting things that were very concrete: flowers, houses and also a lot of portraits. Later he moves on to slightly more non-figurative art, but it remains figurative.
