About Nitra Art
Born in Rwanda, Nitra came to Belgium as a nine-year-old boy in 1985. The mix of cultures that was so defining for his youth has ensured that Nitra connects two worlds in his artworks. He brings his love for the flora and fauna of his homeland into contact with modern architecture in Europe. We see this reflected, among other things, in stunning abstract works in which he connects colorful African butterflies with the architectural style of the West.
