Address: Nieuwe Rijn 13A
In the vibrant heart of Leiden, you'll find our charming art gallery. A place where you can comfortably walk in, get inspired, and discover a diverse collection of modern art. Our gallery is open every Saturday from 13:00 PM to 17:00 PM and easily accessible – you are very welcome to browse without obligation.
We have a very extensive collection, which is why our location in Leiden serves as an inspiring showroom, displaying a wide selection of our collection of sculptures and paintings in various price ranges. This gives you a good impression of the style and possibilities we offer.
In addition, we have a larger gallery in Leiderdorp, where we would be happy to welcome you by appointment.
About Modernart.co
Modernart.co stands for art that leaves a lasting impression—both literally and figuratively. For over 30 years, Modernart.co has brought together exceptional paintings, statues, and sculptures by leading artists from the Netherlands and abroad.
It began about 30 years ago as a hobby for Arnoud Bennink. His son, Arne Bennink, has since taken over Modernart.co, though Arnoud still thoroughly enjoys spending his Saturdays at the gallery—it’s what he loves doing most.
The Modernart.co portfolio consists of more than 1,000 original paintings, statues, and artworks by modern artists such as Herman Brood, Van Apple, Je Shen, Guy Olivier, and Ronald Chapeau.
