This 'World Love Silver/Black' is an exclusive pop art sculpture by Diederik van Apple, with love as its central theme. The silver turtle wears a black helmet adorned with colorful hearts — a playful yet powerful message of world love, in contrast to the message of peace conveyed by the other Peace Turtles in the series.
Van Apple created the Peace Turtles in his own artistic way. He gave the turtles a helmet instead of their shell, to show his love and respect for this protected animal species. The turtles are made of chrome to express their value and are given a colorful and contemporary helmet; each design makes a statement.
