Give Art as a Gift

Giving art as a gift: a present that lasts

Flowers fade and a bottle of wine is soon gone, but an artwork is still there years later. Giving art is giving something personal: a work that matches the taste, humour or passion of the recipient. At Modernart.co you choose from original paintings, sculptures and limited editions by more than 80 artists, including Van Apple, Rick Triest, Guy Olivier and Herman Brood.

An art gift for every budget

A beautiful art gift doesn't have to cost a fortune. Under €500 you will find cheerful Van Apple sculptures, screen prints and small paintings. Between €500 and €1,000 you choose from original paintings and limited editions. Looking for something special for a milestone? Discover our luxury art gifts by established names.

Art gifts for every occasion

•      Christmas: order early and we deliver before Christmas. You can also collect a work at our gallery in Leiden until 24 December.
•      Birthday or anniversary: a work that matches the recipient's hobby or passion, from cars to flowers.
•      Retirement or farewell: a lasting memory of a new chapter.
•      Wedding or new home: an artwork for the first shared interior.

How to choose the right art gift

Think about what the recipient already has at home. Someone who loves colour will enjoy pop art or a flower painting; a calmer interior suits a landscape or abstract work. Not sure about the size? A sculpture always fits: on a cabinet, desk or windowsill. Can't decide? Visit our gallery on the Nieuwe Rijn in Leiden, open every Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Worry-free gifting

Every work is professionally packed and shipped free of charge. And if the gift isn't to their taste, the recipient can exchange it for another work at our gallery in Leiden after the holidays.
