Roland Art – Pop Art Sculptures
Roland Art is an artist born in Utrecht. His inspiration is deeply rooted in his childhood in Friesland, where he grew up surrounded by animals. Later, during a stay in Denmark, he developed a passion for woodworking. In Roland’s own words, “the scent of wood nourishes my creative mind.”
What makes Roland Art sculptures unique?
He works with both wood and bronze. Many of his sculptures are hand-painted in vibrant pop-art colors. The iconic “cat with a little bird on its tail” frequently appears throughout his collection. His style is described as expressive, dreamlike, and positive.
