The techniques Floyd Douglas uses are compilations and compositions of photographs that are digitally manipulated into a surreal setting.
After the work is printed on traditional painters canvas, the artist enriches the work with mixed media such as the hand-painted characteristic sides, paintbrush stencils, synthetic resin, and even gold leaf. He often gives his work a textual memory or message, fragments and words that claim their role in the overall picture, in order to arrive at the most innovative creations.
