Francisco Bartus - Full Moon – Original 3D Painting

New to our 'Full Moon' collection, this unique artwork by Francisco Bartus is composed of small colored figures that together form a full moon. Surrounding the moon are scattered individual figures walking or riding bicycles.

Because the figures literally stand out from the canvas, each tiny person and bicycle casts a subtle, soft shadow onto the white background. These shadows shift with the changing light in the room, creating a constantly evolving 3D effect.

Three-dimensional techniques and materials

In every composition, Bartus works with mixed media: from oil paint to acrylics, from pastel chalk to textiles. By continuously adding new layers, he creates a tactile relief that invites the viewer not only to observe the artwork, but almost to experience it.

The result is a dynamic interplay of shadows and a rich texture that makes his paintings appear to come alive and emerge from the canvas.

The artwork measures 85 x 85 cm including the black floating frame.
