About Je Shen
Je Shen, born in Jiangxi, China, in 1973. After graduating from the Guangzhou School of Fine Arts, he continued his studies at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts. Over the years, his work has been exhibited internationally through solo and group exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Technique
Je Shen builds the foundation of his work using traditional mediums such as oil and acrylic paints, laying a classic visual approach beneath each composition. The flourishing expansion that characterizes his visual language arises from a precise and almost ritualistic process: with a fine drip technique, he patiently forms each petal, drop by drop. This precise movement gives the surface a sense of movement and organic depth, transforming the paint into an immersive blooming structure that hovers between instinct and control.
