Buy Je Shen Art: 'Shine Blue' Original Modern Painting
Shine Blue depicts an abstract, dreamlike river landscape. A bright blue waterway runs centrally deep into the painting, surrounded by two imposing, layered blossom trees. Traditional boats are visible on the water, sailing toward the horizon where historical white Huizhou-style houses with dark roofs loom. The work stands out for its cool color palette; deep, bright indigo and royal blue tones are combined with lilac and warm golden-yellow hues.
The painting is an original and unique work of oil on linen and comes in a black floating frame with a certificate of authenticity. The size is 160 x 120 cm.
About Je Shen:
Je Shen, born in Jiangxi, China, in 1973. After graduating from the Guangzhou School of Fine Arts, he continued his studies at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts. Over the years, his work has been exhibited internationally through solo and group exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
Technique:
Je Shen uses a signature mixed media technique. The background consists of flowing, thin layers of acrylic paint, while the blossom in the foreground is applied with thick, pasty strokes of oil paint (impasto). This gives the blue-gold flowers a tactile, three-dimensional texture.
