Ton Pret - Night Walk - Red Abstract Artwork
It is night, and that only makes the colors brighter. Against a deep black background, a figure with an orange head and a wide grin walks their blue animal on a pink leash. The animal rolls past a lamppost on wheels, with a checkerboard pattern on its flank. A night walk as only Ton Pret could imagine it.
The screen print is mounted on an aluminum dibond plate and coated with epoxy; the flat artwork features a frame on the back, allowing it to hang 'floating' on the wall.

Ton Pret (1958) translates reality into the world of his own imagination. The Dutch self-taught artist has been painting since 2005 and is considered by experts to be a contemporary heir to CoBrA.
