About this artwork
Van Apple Art - Art Against War - Roses | Peace Weapon Sculpture
'Pop Pistol Golden Roses' is an exclusive art object by artist Diederik Van Apple. The pistol is crafted from chrome, stands on a marble base, and is 30 cm long. This version features a gold handle and a white barrel decorated with pink roses.
Pop-Pistols
With the Pop-Pistols, Van Apple reinterprets a universal symbol of violence – the revolver – into a peaceful and poetic work. The sculpture, executed in chrome or gold, shows a firearm with a barrel adorned with colorful butterflies or roses; a symbol of beauty, life, and hope.
True to his contemporary pop-art style, Van Apple combines visual provocation with a socially engaged message: the artist invites us to disarm the world through culture, love, and nature. 'Art Against War' is not merely an aesthetic object; it is a manifesto against violence, an ode to peace, and a call for wonder in a world too often dominated by cruelty.
The Golden Roses Gun is hand-signed and comes in an exclusive ArtBox, including a certificate of authenticity.

As an art collector I am satisfied with the advice of Moderne Kunst! The choice of artists such as Pieter Vonk, Van Apple, Nissim Men and Peter Donkersloot makes me feel like a kid in a candy store.
We were helped professionally and enthusiastically. We were even allowed to take several paintings on inspection. Our Guy Olivier hangs great! We will definitely come back.
What a great shop:-) We dropped in on a Saturday and were helped very pleasantly. After seeing a beautiful work, we thought about it for a while, and then it was no problem to see the screen print within our interior.
